Collabor8Women spotlights Joval Wine’s Callie Jemmeson

Professional networking collective Collabor8Women hosted its second ever Gold Access Member event, spotlighting Joval Wine’s Callie Jemmeson.
Founder and Winemaker of boutique Yarra Valley label Pachamama, Jemmeson has been named a finalist in both the Australian Women in Wine Awards and the Young Gun of Wine Awards.
Held at the Coco Republic Showroom in Alexandria, the invitation-only event welcomed Jemmeson for a Q&A, discussing her wine, inspiration and creative experiences.
Throughout the evening members tasted four of Pachamama’s wines from its 2025 vintage.
The event also coincided with the announcement of Jemmeson’s new east-coast distribution partnership with Déjà Vu Wine Co.
Jemmeson told The Shout she was thrilled to be welcomed into an environment that supports women across industries.
“Giving women places to gather, create and network is so important. In a male dominated industry like wine, we need to lift each other up, be mentors and connect.
“Wine has the incredible ability to break down barriers and walls and help connect people. So, to be able to deliver that here tonight is very special,” she said.
When it comes to her winemaking, Jemmeson told the room that it is never just about making a good bottle.
“It’s about being a bit more considerate of the place and season, and building a corner of this industry where women feel genuinely backed, not just included. Wine can leave a mark on someone’s day, and I want Pachamama to leave a good one, on the land, on the industry, and on everyone who shares a glass with us.”
She added: “I’m thrilled to be part of the evening and to have the opportunity to showcase my wines to both Collabor8Women and Coco Republic VIP guests.”
Founded by Karen Eck and Samantha Theron in 2021, Collabor8Women is a networking collective connecting more than 2000 professional women across diverse industries and leadership levels.
The group has become synonymous with authentic connections, thoughtful conversation and premium dining experiences that champion women in food and wine.

In February 2026, Collabor8Women launched its Gold Access membership, designed to create deeper business connections through exclusive initiatives and collaborations.
Two months later, Collaborat8Women announced a year-long partnership with Joval Wines to highlight the work of its female leaders and winemakers via the Gold Access membership.
The latest event brought together a network of industry leaders and members of the broader business community to connect and share ideas with Joval wines at the centre.
“Helping people, especially women succeed in my industry is a real passion of mine, and it’s exactly what drew me to Collabor8Women. We share the same values. Genuine support, real connection and making a difference for women in business,” said Jemmeson.
Collabor8Women Co-founders Karen Eck and Samantha Theron shared their admiration for Jemmeson’s passion and support for women in business.
“Callie has built something from the ground up, worked extremely hard and managed to forge a pathway that sustains her and her family. She wants you to taste that honesty in every glass. We’re proud to introduce her to our members, and we are grateful to Joval Wines for their support,” said Eck.
