Join us for an intimate demonstration and connection dinner with Kolkata-born, award-winning chef Ahana Dutt.
At the helm of Kolkata Social, Ahana leads a majority-female kitchen and delivers a menu that moves well beyond the predictable. Expect the nuanced “mustard green heat” of Bengali flavours and dishes drawn from her own family archive. Her culinary journey has taken her from India to some of Sydney’s most respected kitchens, including Firedoor and Raja.
Kolkata Social is part of the Plate It Forward initiative, creating training and employment pathways for migrants, particularly women, through hospitality grounded in practical, real-world skills.
